Surfing German Style
Since Germany is a land locked country they have to improvise when it comes to surfing. In the English Garden there is a river that runs through it. Right where it comes out from a channel that goes under a street there are some buried rocks that create a constant wave. The surfers jump in, catch the wave, and ride it back and forth as long as they can. When they wipe out they swim down stream until the current slows and then they jump out. Which by the way is pretty much what Tom did when we were going to watch the surfers, except he didn't have a board or wet suit. Ask him about it sometime, he tells the story better than I can.
