Around Amsterdam

I spent the first 4 and last 3 days of my R&R in Amsterdam with two different groups of people. The beginning with my boys from the States and the end with some girls from Chicago that we met in Munchen. We had a pretty good time with every thing, except the Heineken. I mean it was the first beer I've had in four months, so that made it good but I just can't really enjoy the taste of it. The German beer was definitely much better. We went to the Anne Frank House, the Rijk Museum, the Van Gough Museum, Damrak Square, a few bars and pubs, and of course took a walk down the Red Light District. We also visited Vondel Park where Tony sketched and I played with my camera (pictures under the people watching page) and stopped by a casino on the way home (would have made some money if I followed the rule of leaving when a new dealer arrives).

Three ragged and very tired Houstonians in the Amsterdam airport.

One place that we all should have visited every day, but never did.

Even the Mob is outsourcing it seems.

Some lady from North Carolina (I think) we met.

Melinda (The Nice One) and Mandy (The Munchkin). The girls from Chicago in one big pair of wooden shoes.

Amsterdam Ags. I met them my last day because I saw that guy's Moses shirt. Turns out the girl with them is from Amsterdam and spent a semester at A&M as an exchange student. I'm just sorry I met them on my last day and not my first.
