French Alps
Back in November over many beers I suggested to Blake and Carrie that we go skiing in Europe for Spring Break and they thought it was a great idea. A short while later in College Station I asked Forest if she wanted to go with us. Well in the later stages of planning, it turned out Blake and Carrie wouldn't be able to get off work to go so it was just Forest and me. At first I was thinking Switzerland, but after looking at three different places on a website that said this place is for the rich, this place is for the super rich, and this place is for the crazy super filthy rich I decided on somewhere else. Luckily France also has the Alps and is more reasonably priced. We had a pretty good time considering it was Forest's first time skiing and I had already done my share of skiing in New Mexico. None the less I would highly recommend skiing the Alps at least once in your life if for no other reason than to just say that you've done it.

Hehe, they said fairy toast.

How Forest spent most of her time on the slope.

Just kidding she did pretty well for her first time.

Working on that snow plow.

Apparently I'm not a very good ski instructor so she had to break down and get lessons.

Of course it didn't help that I didn't know the mountain very well.
