Kuwait Hotel
I got a PHAT (Pretty Hot And Tempting for you geezers) hookup with for a hotel room while I was staying in Kuwait waiting to go on R&R. Luckily I was working in Kuwait and Greg knows the Billeting lady, so they set me up in the nice hotel where some of the people that are permanently stationed in Kuwait live. I say it's lucky because I left five days early to go on R&R, you only get two days paid standby so that leaves three days twiddling my thumbs and that's a whole lot of thumb twiddling, and I didn't have to be herded like cattle. The other people going on R&R that left early to avoid travel restrictions had to stay at one of the bases in a warehouses or something. They only got to come to the place we work at (name emitted for security reasons although I know that's it's no secret where we work) two days before they fly out, so they can finish out-processing and catch a ride to the airport. I would love to tell ya'll the name of the hotel, but I'm sure any unsavory characters reading this would also love to know which one it is. I'm pretty sure it's no big secret that we live there, but we would like to keep in on the down low. I should also say that there aren't that many of us living there, so there has got to be a better place to make a "statement." Besides more Arabs stay there than westerners, so they would be hurting way more or their own people than of ours. I decided to try something new with these pictures to try and expand my photography skills, but mostly because I was bored. I took one picture with the flash on and the other without the flash. I tried to hold the camera in the same spot, but was unable to make an exact duplicate of the picture.
Hey it's the best I could do. Good news it looks like my Parkinson's is subsiding, either that or my camera fixed itself and is no longer shaky.
