out of there. I didn’t even send him a thank you letter for his time.& That’ll show him.

KBWho?
------------
I know a lot of you have no idea who KBR is, so I thought I’d share a little with you. KBR stands for Kellogg Brown and Root. Formerly Brown and
Root Construction and Engineering before Halliburton bought them. They also bought Dresser Industries which owned Kellogg Construction and
Engineering. So then they had Brown and Root Construction and Engineering and Kellogg Construction and Engineering. Some big wig though it was a
bad idea to have two Construction and Engineering companies, something about them fighting amongst themselves like ignored siblings. So then they
merged the two and the bastard child KBR was born. So whenever you hear about Halliburton on the news the liberal media is actually talking about
KBR. None of us really work directly for Halliburton we all work for KBR and Halliburton is just the parent company. The only reason they refer to
it as Halliburton is so they can also bring up the fact that Dick Cheney was former CEO. It's actually pretty ironic because Brown and Root have
been doing this kind of stuff for the military since the Vietnam War when Lady Bird Johnson owned it. That’s right a President from the Democrat
Party’s wife started this whole thing rolling with the military. I also think it’s stupid that refer to us as Halliburton. It would kind of be
like if some people got sick at KFC and the news reported an epidemic at Pepsi Co (if they still own them, well they used to at least). Stupid
media.

Intro to the Valley
--------------------
This is from an email I sent to someone about living here.
I though it was pretty good and was too lazy to rewrite it.
"We have a severe shortage of cars around here, which totally sucks because this base is pretty big. The DFAC is like a mile away and the bus
only comes at 6,noon,and 6. What the heck he is doing the rest of the time and how he rakes up 120hrs a week only running 3 times a day for us
I’ll never understand. Walking to the DFAC isn’t too bad right now, as long as you don’t get your cargo pants caught on some C-wire like I did
today and tear a hole from kneecap to ankle. When it gets hot it’s gonna suck really bad. As of yesterday Matt F and I were the only ones living
in our tent. When we got here they put 10 of us in a container and we just couldn’t hang with that. Absolutely no personal space and a few snorers
in the group made it unbearable so we moved out to the tents in no man’s land the next day. That was cool for about a week, until today when they
made everyone else move there too. I just hope no one snores. Our tent also is not close to the office, but it’s only a few hundred yards away.
This is 'temporary' housing, but the other hooches aren’t even here and no one knows when they will be. The new ones are supposed to be one person
to a room and a private bathroom, but I’ll believe it when I see it. Tent life is pretty cool (kind of like summer camp), but our bathroom smells
funky. Funky like I’ve never smelled before and trust me I’ve smelled some serious funk before. Getting here is a total pain since the convoys
have to go around Fallujah. It takes most people a week or at least a few days. I on the other hand am the CHOSEN ONE and got there in about 13hrs.
I left on a convoy to Anaconda one morning and got there around 10. They were holding people at Anaconda that were coming here until they had
enough people to us a USAF plane. The plane was supposed to leave the day before I got there, but due to me being the CHOSEN ONE it was delayed.
They said it was some kind of mechanical problems but I really knew it’s because I’m special. I was in the HR office long enough to run into
Techie, H2O was on the other side of camp. I was gonna see Medic after lunch, (anyone else there had already left) but about 5 min after I got my
computer unpacked Morgan ran in and said 'Grab your PPE gear and computer, the plane to B1 hasn’t left
