 LSD to Prevent Malaria

Not that I know from personal experience what an Acid trip feels like, but this Malaria medicine sounds pretty close. It's a once a week pill called Lariam that you take 2 weeks before entering a Malaria area and 4 weeks after leaving the area. Since most anti-Malaria medicine is a daily pill the Lariam contains a higher potency of the drug. With this I have about a 10% chance of having very vivid and wild dreams, sounds pretty cool right? But there also about a 5% chance that I will have very vivid and crazy nightmares and night terrors, not so cool at all. So for the convenience of having a once weekly pill I could be getting freaked out of my gourd at night. Also do you recall the Army officers that came back from Afghanistan and murdered their wives? Yea the Army was looking in to the Lariam they were taking as a possible supporting factor. There's also a warning about people with hypersensitivity (abnormal or excessive sensitivity to the drug) or a history of serious psychiatric or seizure disorders and people with irregular heartbeats (Arrhythmias) taking it (webmd.com). I don't think I have any of those, but I guess we'll find out soon enough. Here's a list of the side effects from webmd.com Nausea, Diarrhea, Dizziness, Sleep disturbances (I like how they call it disturbances, from what the nurse said is should a little more serious than a disturbance), Headache, Seizures, Disruption of coordination and vision. And for only $185 you too could get 14 pills of this wonder drug. As is traveling half way around the world into a desert on the brink of war isn't bad enough, now I get to have "sleep disturbances" too. This drug is gonna suck, but at least I'm going to know what a good or bad trip from the 60's is gonna be like.
